The RAM® Ball Adapter for Apple MagSafe® Charger (RAP-B-202-AP-MAG-1U) is designed to integrate the official Apple MagSafe® Charger (2020) into RAM® ball and socket mounting systems, providing a secure, reliable in-vehicle mounting solution. This adapter offers a snug, precise fit for the original Apple MagSafe® charging puck, allowing compatible iPhone models to magnetically snap into place when properly aligned. It connects to RAM® B size socket arms, unlocking a wide range of mounting bases for flexible installation throughout your vehicle. This product is compatible with the original Apple MagSafe® Charger released in 2020. It is not compatible with the newer Apple MagSafe® Charger released in 2024 and later. Not sure which MagSafe® charger you have? If your charger cable is braided, it is a newer 2024+ MagSafe® Charger. If the cable is smooth with a soft rubber casing, it is the original 2020 MagSafe® Charger.

Does this come with the MagSafe wireless charger?
No, you will need to purchase the MagSafe wireless charger separately to use this product.

The Apple MagSafe charger fits perfectly, but does not stay in place. Are we supposed to glue this in somehow? Double sided tape? Shrink wrap? Bubble gum?
This MagSafe mount adapter designed specifically for 15W MagSafe charging disk. It does not work with the new charging disk. We do not advise to use glue on these disks.

What is the diameter of the ball?
This is the B sized 1" ball.

What holds the MagSafe charger in the adapter? Does the MagSafe hold it in place magnetically?
The RAM-B-202-MAGU is form-fitting to a MagSafe charger, just insert the MagSafe charging puck into the holder, and it will click into place.

Can the B RAM ball be replaced with an A size? Can the RAM ball be removed?
No, the RAP-B-202U-AP-MAGU is only available with the B size ball which cannot be replaced as it's injection molded around the post of the MagSafe ball adapter.

What brand Mag Safe chargers will fit the Mont? My MoMax is too big.
The RAM-B-202-AP-MAGU is only compatible with the MagSafe wireless charger from Apple. That is a form-fitting holder and will only work with the MagSafe charger (2020) offered by Apple.
