Overview

The RAM® Ball Adapter for Apple MagSafe® Charger (RAP-B-202-AP-MAG-1U) is designed to integrate the official Apple MagSafe® Charger (2024+) into RAM® ball and socket mounting systems, providing a secure, reliable in-vehicle mounting solution. This adapter offers a snug, precise fit for the newer Apple MagSafe® charging puck, allowing compatible iPhone models to magnetically snap into place when properly aligned. It connects to RAM® B size socket arms, unlocking a wide range of mounting bases for flexible installation throughout your vehicle. This product is compatible with the newer Apple MagSafe® Charger released in 2024 and later. It is not compatible with the original 2020 MagSafe® charging puck. Not sure which MagSafe® charger you have? If your charger cable is braided, it is a newer 2024+ MagSafe® Charger. If the cable is smooth with a soft rubber casing, it is the original 2020 MagSafe® Charger.

  • How long is the cord ?

    This part number is only the Mag Safe holder. We do not provide the charging puck. 

    Also, you can look at our following part number for our  RAM® Qi2 15W Wireless Charger; RAM-GDS-CHARGE-W2M

  • What keeps the charger from pulling out of the adapter when you remove the phone?

    The MagSafe charger will snap securely into the adapter. There is a small access hole on the back of the adapter that allows you to push the MagSafe out if you ever need to remove it.

  • what is the diameter of the cup inside on the 15watt vrs the 25w?

    The inside diameter is the same for both: 2.190".

  • What is the hole size for the MagSafe charger on this product?

Reading part numbers

The letter after RAM tells you the ball size: RAM-B-166 uses a 1" B ball, while RAM-D-201 uses a 2.25" D ball. C size parts are the exception and carry no letter, so RAM-201U is a C size arm.
