The GDS® Cool-Dock™ is the upgraded version of the GDS® Tough-Dock™ including a built-in 12-VDC Axial cooling fan with a 2.2 meter long hardwire charger. The GDS® Cool-Dock™ is the turnkey vehicle dock in the GDS® Tech™ line of vehicle docks designed to support the Apple iPad Air (4th & 5th Gen) & iPad Pro 11" (1st - 4th Gen) in an IntelliSkin® Next Gen protective sleeve for your fleet. Using a USB Type-C power connector, the GDS® Cool-Dock™ supports high speed charging capabilities for the Apple iPad Air (4th & 5th Gen) & iPad Pro 11" (1st - 4th Gen). The GDS® Cool-Dock™ is compatible with B or C size RAM® ball and socket systems and requires a 4-hole AMPS pattern ball adapter. The GDS® Cool-Dock™ is backed by a 3-year warranty. Do you have a way to thermally control the cooling fan? We leave the tablets in our department vehicles and do not dead tablets or vehicle batteries.
We don’t offer a way to thermally control the fan. However, you can turn it off at any time by unplugging the fan from the hardwired connection. Please note, if the vehicle is on and the fan is plugged in- the fan will remain on.
