Overview

The RAP-404-202U consists of the medium version of the RAM® Tough-Claw™ with a C size 1.5" rubber ball, medium length double socket arm, and a round plate with C size 1.5" rubber ball. The RAM® Tough-Claw™ is the perfect mounting base for toolless installation and removal on round, square, and odd-shaped rails and bars. The medium version of the RAM® Tough-Claw™ can quickly be clamped on rails ranging from 1" to 1.6" in outer diameter and is ideal for mounting phones, tablets, action cameras, rod holders, and much more in a wide variety of applications.

  • Good afternoonWe already have, on board of our ship such clamp. We are using it for our Electronic Logbook and we would like to buy another one. It is perfectly fitted above our chart table. Unfortunately It was installed some time ago by technician so we cannot find any details. On our ship it is looking that size of clamp is bigger than on that picture. We would like to connect it to railing diameter 1,6". On description is written that outer diameter is up to 1,6" so its look to us that is too small. Could you advise? Do you have a bigger clamp?

    Yes, the RAM-401-202U will clamp around a bar or railing between 1" and 2.2" in diameter.  That kit has the same round plate with ball and the same length double socket arm as the assembly you have now.
