Overview
This RAM® EZ-Roll’r™ power cradle for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro, 4 Pro and Tab Active Pro has been designed to meet the demands of field workers in a variety of applications including transportation, field sales, logistics, manufacturing, and much more. Power and data sync capabilities are provided to the device through GDS® pogo pins while taking advantage of this cradle's dual USB-A port supporting up to two peripherals making this the ideal, compact mounting solution for your mobile workstation. Access to the stylus remains while the device is docked. Included is a set of four nuts and bolts to connect the cradle to any RAM® components containing the universal 4-hole AMPS pattern. This cradle also contains space in the back allowing for a GDS® Hand-Stand™ attachment so you can easily take your Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro and Tab Active Pro from your vehicle, to your person, to your desk with zero hassle.

How can I connect the power supply, due to the RAM-GDS-CHARGE-7B1U is female USB A, and RAM-HOL-SAM52PD2U is also female USB.
The Tab Active4 Pro & Tab Active Pro, has a male USB port for power as stated in the Features and options tab. The RAM-GDS-CHARGE-7B1U Charger will work for this dock.

Is the RAM SKIN a required accessory?
No, the RAM Skin is not required for use with the RAM-HOL-SAM52PD2U as that powered dock is also compatible with the factory skin from Samsung.

Does this dock need to be supplemented with RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V7B1U to work in a forklift?
The hardwire charger would be dependent on the power supply you're using. The RAM-GDS-CHARGE-7B1U is compatible with 10-30V power sources, while the RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V8BU is intended for use with 30-64V power supplies.
