Overview
The GDS® Cool-Dock™ is the upgraded version of the GDS® Tough-Dock™ including a built-in 12-VDC Axial cooling fan with a 2.2 meter long hardwire charger. The GDS® Cool-Dock™ is the turnkey vehicle dock in the GDS® Tech™ line of vehicle docks designed to support the Apple iPad Air (4th & 5th Gen) & iPad Pro 11" (1st - 4th Gen) in an IntelliSkin® Next Gen protective sleeve for your fleet. Using a USB Type-C power connector, the GDS® Cool-Dock™ supports high speed charging capabilities for the Apple iPad Air (4th & 5th Gen) & iPad Pro 11" (1st - 4th Gen). The GDS® Cool-Dock™ is compatible with B or C size RAM® ball and socket systems and requires a 4-hole AMPS pattern ball adapter. The GDS® Cool-Dock™ is backed by a 3-year warranty. Do you have a way to thermally control the cooling fan? We leave the tablets in our department vehicles and do not dead tablets or vehicle batteries.
Thanks for reaching out to us! While we do not have a way to thermally control the fan, you can choose to unplug the fan cord from the hardwiring whenever you would like the fan to be off. If the vehicle is on and the fan is plugged in- the fan will remain on. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any additional questions- We are always happy to help!
