Overview

The RAM® Round Plate with Ball (RAM-B-202U) features an integrated B size rubber ball compatible with RAM® socket arms. The 2.5" round plate has pre-drilled holes in accordance with the universal AMPS hole pattern. This versatile component can be used as a drill-down base or as an adapter for compatible RAM® device holders.

  • What size screws are needed for the holes on this ball plate?

    The most common screw sizes are #8, #10, M4 and M5 screws. However, if you are pairing this with any RAM® Holder, the holder will come with the necessary hardware to connect to your mount.

  • Is there a backing plate to pair with this mount when mounting through thin plastic?

    The RAM-B-202-225-2U comes with a backing plate for additional support when mounting in thin plastic.

  • Is there a hole pattern on this base that has the same dimensions as the diamond ball base for mounting?

    Yes, it has a 1.912" two-hole pattern that can be matched with the Diamond Ball Base.
