Overview	This RAM^® No-Drill^™ laptop stand system installs quickly and easily into a variety of Dodge, Ford, and Jeep vehicles using the existing hardware of the passenger side seat rails. This configuration provides a telescoping feature that ranges from 12” to 18”. Dual swing arms provide articulation and 12” of reach for passenger and driver access to the mounted device. RAM^® rubber ball and socket technology provides additional adjustability as well as shock and vibration isolation. The spring-loaded RAM^® Tough-Tray^™ laptop holder accommodates 10” to 16” wide laptops, and 17” wide screens. The tray features four adjustable retaining arms with rubber grips that can be moved both vertically and horizontally. These arms allow for a custom fit for laptops of varying thickness while not blocking drives or ports. A screen support and USB light are also available to accessorize the RAM^® Tough-Tray^™. In addition, hole patterns on the perimeter of the laptop holder are compatible with several RAM^® mounting solutions.

Can someone sit in the passenger seat while this mount is installed?

Technically someone can still sit in the passenger seat when this mount is installed but the mount does take up a considerable amount of leg room and it does make the passenger seat much less comfortable. If you want to be able to quickly remove the mount to make room for a passenger you could install our Remove-A-Pole base (RAM-VB-REM1).
Do the Side arms hold the laptop allow the laptop to close completely?

You will want to look at our following side arms:

What is the best option to add a phone mount to this

Depending on your phone model, we recommend: RAM-B-102-UN10U or RAM-B-102-UN7U.

This goes from 12 to 18 inches tall, telescoping, and should clear most consoles.
