Overview
The RAM® No-Drill™ laptop mounting base for the Ford F-150, F-150 Lightning, and Transit Connect van features a heavy-duty steel mounting base custom designed to fit these vehicles perfectly. Using the front bench or passenger side seat rail bolts as attachment points, existing hardware is used to secure the laptop mount base in the vehicle.

Can I use my existing RAM-VB-196-SW1 with this no drill base?
You can move the upper tele pole and swing arm assembly over, but you'll need to purchase a lower tele pole to use with the upper pole to complete the mount.

Is this base unit Part#: RAM-VB-195 compatible with a 2018 Jeep Compass
This base is compatible with the following: Jeep: Compass (2013-2018), Patriot (2013-2017). To double check I suggest to compare your seat bolt distance to the information under SPECS.

Where exactly does this mount?
The RAM-VB-195 no drill base plate is mounted across the front of the passenger seat using the bolts that secure the seat frame legs. Some of the plastic trim may need to be removed to access those bolts, depending on the model of F-Series truck.
