Overview
The RAM® Universal Marine Electronic Mount (RAM-D-115-C) is a rugged, fully adjustable mounting solution designed for reliable performance on the water. Constructed from powder-coated, marine-grade aluminum, this system includes a short D size double socket arm, a 2.5" diameter round base, and a 6.25" x 2" rectangular adapter plate for secure device mounting. The rectangular adapter features multiple pre-drilled hole patterns, making it compatible with a wide range of marine electronics and mounting configurations, including fish finders, marine GPS units, CB and ham radios, gimbal brackets, and more.

Does this SKU include the hardware needed to bolt it to a flat surface?
No, the hardware required to install this mount is not included. Because these are mounted to such a wide variety of materials and applications we do not know what hardware to provide. The best resource for that type of information is usually a local hardware store or the manufacturer of the vehicle you are mounting to.

What screws are used to attach the RAM Mount to the gimbal bracket?
Typically, the gimbal bracket included with your fishfinder will also come with mounting screws that should connect to the RAM® mounting plate. As these mounts are universal and are for many different applications, the necessary hardware needed for each application will vary. For marine applications, RAM® recommends stainless steel hardware to prevent corrosion.

Does this fit Simrad go9?
This is a universal mount and has many mounting holes options. You can look under the RESOURCES tab and see the top plate drawing file with all the hole patterns.

I'm considering buying a Garmin Echomap UHD or UHD2 93sv (both are 9 inch screens), and a RAM D size mount. The only thing is, I'm not sure if I need the short or medium length - I'd prefer short, but I'm not sure if I can get it far enough away from the console with that arm. What is your return policy? Can I purchase both mounts and return the one I don't want?

Will this mount fit on a Helix 7?
Yes, the RAM-D-115-C will accommodate a Humminbird Helix 7. Typically RAM recommends the RAM-202-24-202U instead as that adapter plate is more of a form factor that only has one hole pattern which matches up with both the gimbal bracket and the mounting holes in the back of the Helix 7 unit, without the edges of the plate sticking out past the device.
