Overview

The RAM-D-115BU, universal mounting plate, consists of a 2.25" diameter rubber ball, connected at right angles to a flat 6.25" x 2" rectangular plate. The plate contains different combinations of pre-drilled holes which will match up to many electronic devices.

    The best way to verify compatibility is to check the hole pattern drawing file, found under the resources tab, with the hole pattern on your gimbal. 

  • What size bolts do you recommend for this?

    RAM typically recommends using #10 bolts and compatible hardware with the RAM-D-115BU.

Reading part numbers

The letter after RAM tells you the ball size: RAM-B-166 uses a 1" B ball, while RAM-D-201 uses a 2.25" D ball. C size parts are the exception and carry no letter, so RAM-201U is a C size arm.
