Overview
The RAM-B-101U consists of a medium length B size 1" double socket arm and two 2.5" diameter round ball bases that contain the universal AMPS hole pattern. The ball and socket system provides shock and vibration damping, and allows for near-infinite adjustability to achieve an ideal viewing and operating angle of your device.

What size screws are needed for the holes on this ball plate?
The most common screw sizes are #8, #10, M4 and M5 screws. However, if you are pairing this with any RAM® Holder, the holder will come with the necessary hardware to connect to your mount.

Is it possible to get 3D models/ STEP files of certain RAM mounts?
Unfortunately there are no 3D models or STEP files available for RAM parts. There are line drawings available of many of the individual components on their product pages, either in the thumbnails section under the main image or as a PDF under the Resources tab. If those images are not available in the complete kit, you can find them on the individual product pages by scrolling to the bottom of the product page for the kit you're interested in and clicking on the individual component.
