Overview
The RAM-101AU-B, powder coated marine grade aluminum mount, consists of a 3.56" double socket arm mount, one round 2.5" diameter base with the universal AMPS hole pattern and round base with a 1/4"-20 threaded steel stud. The round base provides support and stability for cameras that rest on top of it. The male 1/4"-20 threaded steel stud will connect to any standard female thread found on camcorders and digital cameras. This is a drill down mount. Loosen the double socket arm to achieve near-infinite viewing angles.

The overall height is referenced as 5.225", is that measuring the height of the entire assembly (including the threaded part of the one ball mount)?
That is not including the thread on the top Ball Mount, Including the thread it would be 5.5" in length.
