was thinking I could try this to mount a livescope pole to my boat. Will this be strong enough to handle the load when trolling?
Yes, the RAM Tough-Track Top-Loading Composite tracks can be used for trolling with a C size track ball (RAM-463-TRA1U or RAM-354-TRA1), but RAM recommends using the Modular Aluminum Tracks as they'll hold up better over the long term in a marine environment.
