Overview

The RAM® Trolling Motor Stabilizer with Tough-Claw™ 1” - 1.6” Clamp Bases (RAP-404-404U) provides a secure mounting solution to support trolling motor shafts from jostling around when not in use. The RAM® Tough-Claw™ is the perfect mounting base for quick and easy tool-less installation and removal on round, square, odd shaped rails, and bars from 1" to 1.6" outer diameter. This mount is designed with RAM® C size 1.5" diameter patented ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm, allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.

  • Will this fit around a Garmin kraken trolling motor shaft 90” so I guess what’s the smallest and largest pipe you can clamp onto

    These claws will hold a clamp range 1" - 1.6" diameter. Please compare your trolling motor shaft.

Reading part numbers

The letter after RAM tells you the ball size: RAM-B-166 uses a 1" B ball, while RAM-D-201 uses a 2.25" D ball. C size parts are the exception and carry no letter, so RAM-201U is a C size arm.
