Overview
The RAM-HOL-UN8BCU consists of a spring loaded cradle and 1.5" rubber ball connected to the back of the base. Included are extra easy access grip knobs, located on the back of the cradle for quick release of your tablet. The RAM-HOL-UN8BCU expands and contracts for perfect fit of most 7"-8" tablets. The X-Grip® includes a device tether recommended for outdoor applications. The cradle is compatible with handheld devices that will fit the dimensions listed below. It is important to verify the dimensions of your handheld device with a case/sleeve/skin when determining the overall size.

I don't see my tablet listed in the compatibility section for this cradle. How can I make sure my tablet is compatible before placing an order?
You can find a list of compatible dimensions for this cradle in the product information section. If you want to make sure your tablet will fit in this cradle you can measure your tablet to make sure it falls within the compatible dimensions.

I noticed my tablet can be rotated back and forth about 15 degrees when it is in the X-Grip. Is that normal?
That type of movement is totally normal for the X-Grip. When being used for less rugged applications the small amount of movement allowed is not an issue, but sometimes when traveling at higher speeds or in bumpy environments it can be. If that is causing problems in your application, it is best to use the safety tether which will prevent that type of movement by creating tension between the phone and backplate.
