What is the diameter of the hole in the RAM-B-289U?

The inside diameter of the center hole is .48" and the outter diameter is .95".
What size is the hole and how deep? Is it or can it be threaded?

The center barrel portion of the RAM-B-289U is 1.18" tall and does not come threaded.
Will this work on top of the Tele-Pole?

The RAM-B-289U is not compatible with the swing arm at the end of the tele pole but the RAM-289U has larger, 1.5" diameter balls which are would work well with the tele pole & swing arm assembly.
