Overview

The RAM® Laptop Mount for '15-22 Chevrolet Colorado + More (Legacy) (RAM-VB-193-SW1) installs quickly and easily to the passenger seat rails using the existing vehicle hardware. This laptop mounting kit is telescoping, allowing users to adjust the height ranges from 12” to 18”. Dual swing arms provide articulation and 12” of reach for passenger and driver access to the mounted device. RAM® rubber ball and socket technology provides additional adjustability as well as shock and vibration isolation. This bundle features the legacy RAM® Tough-Tray™ laptop holder that accommodates 10" to 17" laptops (measured diagonally). The tray features four adjustable retaining arms with rubber grips that can be moved both vertically and horizontally. These arms allow for a custom fit for laptops of varying thickness while not blocking drives or ports. Upgrade your mounting kit with compatible accessories that are not included, such as the RAM® Adjustable Screen Support and RAM® Power Caddy. Integrated 2-hole AMPS mounting locations around the tray perimeter allow for easy attachment of accessories such as printers, handheld devices, or scanners. To install this base, the plastic trim nearest to the passenger door may need to be cut or modified to accommodate the RAM® No-Drill™ base once installed. If this cannot be done in your vehicle, or you are not comfortable with this, you should not purchase this product. Note that the RAM-VB-191-SW1 will not work with the 4x4 lever on the center hump of the vehicle. The RAM-VB-191-SW1 is for 4x2 trucks only.

Can someone sit in the passenger seat while this mount is installed?

Technically someone can still sit in the passenger seat when this mount is installed but the mount does take up a considerable amount of leg room and it does make the passenger seat much less comfortable. If you want to be able to quickly remove the mount to make room for a passenger you could install our Remove-A-Pole base (RAM-VB-REM1).
Will this unit work in my 2015 Chevrolet 1500?

Your 2015 Chevy 1500 is in the compatibility list. Please be advised of the additions information:

It is possible to buy only a base for this - to be compatible for 2021 +? We use these in a work fleet and are wondering if all new stands will need to be purchased when we upgrade, or if a new base can be purchased to connect. Thanks!

2019 Silverado has no front passenger seat bolts, only slide in brackets. How does it mount?
