Overview
The RAM® No-Drill™ laptop mounting base features a heavy-duty steel mounting base with a universal design to fit a variety of vehicles. Using the passenger side seat rail bolts as attachment points, existing hardware is used to secure the laptop mount base in the vehicle.

Will this base work with my 2500 Ram? I have everything except for the base.
With the UNIVERSAL MOUNT I would suggest comparing the HOLE PATTERNS on the product page to you truck. If you try the BUILD A MOUNT we might have a specific base for your RAM 2500; Just need to know the year of your truck.

Do you make a universal base that does not include the welded pole? I currently have 2 vehicles that you do make specific bases for, and I swap the complete setup between vehicles using your male/female connector base. I'm looking to add a base to my '23 Traverse, but all I see for compatibility is the universal base with the pole.
No, all of our universal bases include the welded pole, unfortunately.

How can I be sure the universal mount is compatible with my vehicle before placing an order?

Can this bracket be reversed to suit right-hand drive cars?
No, the RAM-VB-196 is not reversible but we do offer a version that's made for right hand drive vehicles, the RAM-VB-196-1.
