The RAM® Friction Hinge 10" Socket Arm with Ball for Tough-Bar™ (RAP-TB-FHA1-1BU) is an attachment accessory that allows you to secure a keyboard or alternative accessory to the RAM® Tough-Bar™. Designed for smooth adjustability and vehicle safety, this mount combines a precision friction hinge with our Collar-Lock™ system. The friction hinge provides controlled, single-axis movement—allowing you to pivot your keyboard side to side for optimal positioning or to quickly access vehicle controls. Tighten the knob to hold your position firmly in place, or loosen it to reposition on the fly. The complementary Collar-Lock™ system acts as a protective stop on either side of the hinge, preventing over-rotation that could send the mount into the dashboard during adjustment or impact. Together, these components offer stable, vibration-resistant performance. This mount comes with a round ball base, ensuring RAM® Mounts compatibility for keyboards or DIY solutions. The built-in cable retention feature keeps cords neatly organized and secured along the arm, preventing snags or strain during adjustment.
