Overview
This Toyota bundle consists of the RAM® No-Drill™ laptop mounting base, RAM® Tele-Pole™, and the RAM® X-Grip® universal holder for 12" tablets. The RAM® No-Drill™ features a heavy-duty steel mounting base custom designed to fit this vehicle perfectly. Using the passenger side seat rail bolts as attachment points, existing hardware is used to secure the base in the vehicle. The double swing arm allows you to twist and tilt the viewing angle of your connected electronic device, when mounted on your RAM Vehicle Mount. The length of the double swing arm is 12". The RAM® X-Grip® features an 'X' design that expands and contracts to provide a perfect fit for your device – even if it's in a case. Included are easy access grip knobs located on the back of the cradle for quick release of your tablet. This version of the RAM® X-Grip® holder is compatible with tablets that will fit the dimensions listed below. It is important to verify the dimensions of device with its case, sleeve, or skin when determining the overall size.

This part says it has a maximum height of 10.25" (using optional supports). Is it possible to use this cradle with a tablet that is taller than that?
Yes, the maximum height listed only applies if you are using the optional side support arms. If you leave at least one of those arms off of the mount it will be able to support taller tablets.
