Overview	This RAM^® No-Drill^™ vehicle base and laptop stand installs quickly into the specified vehicles using the existing hardware of the passenger side seat rails, and provides a telescoping feature that ranges from 12 to 18 inches. Dual swing arms provide articulation and 12 inches of reach for passenger and driver access to the mounted device. The RAM^® rubber ball and socket system provides additional adjustability as well as shock and vibration damping, and the RAM^® Tough-Tray^™ is spring-loaded to accommodate 10" to 16" wide laptops (and 17" wide screens). This laptop holder features four adjustable retaining arms with rubber grips that can be moved both vertically and horizontally – allowing for a custom fit to support various sizes of laptops without blocking ports and drives. A screen support and USB light are also available to accessorize the RAM^® Tough-Tray^™, and hole patterns on the perimeter of the holder facilitate the mounting of additional RAM^® systems to support GPS devices and other electronics.

Additional Information	In 2005 and 2011 model year vehicles, the seat leg bolts may be tied to the air bag system. Tampering with these may result in disabling the air bag system and causing a severe safety hazard. The installation of this product into these vehicles should only be done by a Dodge Factory Authorized technician or Up-Fitter familiar with Police, Fire and Rescue Vehicles and their fleet use.

Can someone sit in the passenger seat while this mount is installed?

Technically someone can still sit in the passenger seat when this mount is installed but the mount does take up a considerable amount of leg room and it does make the passenger seat much less comfortable. If you want to be able to quickly remove the mount to make room for a passenger you could install our Remove-A-Pole base (RAM-VB-REM1).
