Overview
The GDS® Audio™ amplified speaker can be hardwired into the cab of your vehicle – with no batteries required for power. An adjustable knob allows for up to 93dB of amplified audio feedback from your device, and the speaker includes built-in overcurrent, short circuit, and overvoltage protection. As part of the GDS® Ecosystem™, the speaker can be mounted to any GDS® vehicle dock using the RAM® short bracket adapter or RAM® standard bracket adapter. Each bracket includes hardware to mount the speaker to the bracket, as well as the bracket to your GDS® vehicle dock.

I need a speaker to work with a communications receiver with a 3.5mm speaker jack, Will this one work?; or is the wiring somehow different for the "GDS Tech" application?
This speaker is not GDS specific. It can be used with any 3.5mm jack.
