Overview
The RAM® Tough-Charge™ 15W Waterproof Wireless Charging Holder with Charger (RAM-HOL-UN12WB-V7M-1) is the world’s first patented, waterproof, universal wireless charging cradle for phones—built to handle rugged environments while keeping your device powered and accessible. Featuring the spring-loaded RAM® X-Grip® design, the cradle’s signature “X” arms expand and contract to securely hold nearly any smartphone while delivering reliable Qi wireless charging. Rubber-coated end caps on all four arms grip your device firmly, and the open-frame design keeps side buttons and ports unobstructed. To insert your phone, simply squeeze one side of the cradle, set your device in place, and release. This waterproof Qi charging cradle delivers consistent charging at virtually any orientation. For added confidence during aggressive riding or outdoor use, a device tether is included. A removable and adjustable support leg provides additional stability. The connected Type-A male pigtail includes an in-line power switch for turning the charging module on or off as needed. For in-vehicle setups, simply connect the pigtail to the included 1.2m Type-A male to Type-A female extension cable. This kit also includes a hardwire charger for direct power integration. For open cockpit applications (i.e. motorcycles, ATVs, boats, etc.) apply silicone grease to the USB Type-A male & female connector to protect the connections and prevent corrosion. Failure to do so will void warranty.

Will this item fit the iPhone 17?
This holder will not work for iPhones newer than the iPhone 11, due to a change in iPhone charging requirements. The RAM-HOL-PD7B-W2MU is the holder you will need for newer devices.

Is this compatible with an iPhone 12 mini?
This charger is not recommended for Apple iPhon 12, 13 and 14. These models support two wireless charging technologies: Apple's proprietary "Magsafe" and WPC "Qi" standard.

Is it safe to keep a phone on this product for very long periods of time? Does this product support a trickle charge type feature to protect the battery?
The unit does not have a trickle charger built in but there is an on/off switch for use when there isn't a phone in place or when you don't want to charge your device.
