Overview
The RAM-D-111U-E consists of a 3.68" diameter round base, LONG length double socket arm and 11" x 3" rectangular plate. The round base contains pre-drilled holes, including two holes at 180 degrees and three holes at 120 degrees. The rectangle plate contains different combinations of pre-drilled holes which will match up to many electronic devices and mounts, including Marine GPS, CB Radios, Ham Radios, Gimbal Brackets and more.

What screws are used to attach the RAM Mount to the gimbal bracket?
Typically the gimbal bracket included with your fishfinder will also come with mounting screws that should connect to the RAM® mounting plate. As these mounts are universal and are for many different applications, the necessary hardware needed for each application will vary. For marine applications, RAM® recommends stainless steel hardware to prevent corrosion.

What are the 4 shoulder washers used for?
The four included shoulder washers are meant to accommodate smaller screws in case the original holes on the ball plate are too large. These washers will reduce the risk of smaller screw heads stripping through the larger holes, and can be used with any of the holes on the ball plate.

Does this work with Raymarine Axiom 7 (or other 7 inch raymarine fishfinders).
Yes, the RAM-D-111U-E is compatible with a Raymarine Axiom 7 and would be compatible with any other Raymarine fishfinders that share the same hole pattern in their gimbal brackets.

Will this work with Garmin echomap UHD 73sv?
For the Garmin echomap UHD 73sv you would actually need the smaller plate that has the correct hole pattern to line up with that gimbal bracket: RAM-D-115-E.
