Overview
The RAM Gas Tank base is a low-profile way to get a unique perspective from your camera or to attach your electronic device where it can be quickly accessible. This powder coated aluminum base mounts directly to the stock gas tank of any listed compatible motorcycles. We include the hardware you need to mount to the fill port as well. The X-Grip® includes a device tether recommended for outdoor applications. The cradle is compatible with handheld devices that will fit the dimensions listed below. It is important to verify the dimensions of your handheld device with a case/sleeve/skin when determining the overall size.

Will this work on my 2018 Ninja 650 KRT edition?
Yes this should fit the 2018 Ninja 650 KRT.

I noticed my phone can be rotated back and forth about 15 degrees when it is in the X-Grip. Is that normal?
That type of movement is totally normal for the X-Grip. When being used for less rugged applications the small amount of movement allowed is not an issue, but sometimes when traveling at higher speeds or in bumpy environments it can be. If that is causing problems in your application, it is best to use the safety tether which will prevent that type of movement by creating tension between the phone and backplate.
