Overview
The RAM® Quick-Grip™ 15W Waterproof Wireless Charging Mount with Tough-Claw™ (RAM-B-400-A-UN14W-V7M-1) combines secure, one-handed phone access with fast, Qi-compatible wireless charging. This waterproof charging cradle uses the spring-loaded RAM® Quick-Grip™ design to provide a reliable hold and easy insertion/removal. Rubber-coated top and bottom cups keep your phone firmly in place while delivering up to 15W of power as long as it’s within the listed compatible dimensions. A device tether is included and recommended for demanding outdoor environments. The included RAM® Tough-Claw™ base clamps quickly onto round, square, or irregular rails and bars from 0.625” to 1.14” in diameter, making setup fast and tool-free. A connected Type-A male pigtail with an in-line power switch lets you turn the charging module on or off as needed. For in-vehicle use, simply connect the pigtail to the included 1.2m Type-A male to Type-A female extension cable. For open cockpit applications (i.e. motorcycles, ATVs, boats, etc.) apply silicone grease to the USB Type-A male & female connector to protect the connections and prevent corrosion. Failure to do so will void warranty.

Will this work with a 16+ iPhone
This mount will work and charge properly for the phone listed in the COMPATIBILITY list.

You state this is not reccomended for Iphone 13. Is that because it will charge slowly or not at all? Will Iphone 15 work on this charger?
This charger does not provide enough charge for many newer devices. We recommend using RAM-HOL-PD7B-W2MU for wireless charging.

Will this fit an iPhone 8 Plus in a defender case?
No, RAM does not currently offer a wireless charging holder that would accommodate an iPhone 8 Plus in an Otterbox Defender case.
