Overview
This kit includes a B size RAM® diamond ball base with a universal hardware pack that accommodates the armrest on most major wheelchair brands, including Invacare, Permobil, and Quickie. With the included long double socket arm, double ball adapter, and medium double socket arm, connect and adjust the RAM® X-Grip® universal phone holder to your ideal position. The popular, spring-loaded RAM® X-Grip® provides a perfect fit for a wide variety of phones.

I noticed my phone can be rotated back and forth about 15 degrees when it is in the X-Grip. Is that normal?
That type of movement is totally normal for the X-Grip. When being used for less rugged applications the small amount of movement allowed is not an issue, but sometimes when traveling at higher speeds or in bumpy environments it can be. If that is causing problems in your application, it is best to use the safety tether which will prevent that type of movement by creating tension between the phone and backplate.
