Overview
The RAM® Spine Clip holder is a mount adapter that easily clips into the integrated spine connection on a wide variety of Garmin devices. This mount includes a 2.5" diameter round base with the universal AMPS hole pattern and a medium length RAM® double socket arm so you can drill down directly into your desired surface, or secure with sturdy hardware.

What size screws are needed for the holes on this ball plate?
The most common screw sizes are #8, #10, M4 and M5 screws. However, if you are pairing this with any RAM® Holder, the holder will come with the necessary hardware to connect to your mount.

Does it need a base plate to be installed on the flat surface?
This is a complete kit that comes with the base plate for flat surfaces, the double socket arm and cradle.
