Overview
This ideal airplane yoke mount is designed specifically to hold an Apple iPad mini (A17 Pro) & mini 6, and consists of a yoke clamp base, B size medium length double socket arm and round 2.5" base that contains the universal AMPS hole pattern to attach the holder. The yoke clamp base will fit rails in diameter from 0.625" to a maximum of 1.25". The 1" rubber ball is at a right angle to the plane of the mount; when connected to a rail, the ball sits parallel to the rail. The mount is designed with a RAM® 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm, allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.

If I have my iPad mini 6 in an otterbox case, will it fit in the cradle?
This cradle will only fit a caseless IPad mini 6. Please check out the RAM-HOL-TAB12U if want to use a case.

All commercial airlines that have gained FAA approval for utilizing RAM products for mounting a variety of devices have done so by working with their FAA representative. RAM has supported these efforts by providing the individual commercial airline carriers with shock and vibration reports, material specification sheets and similar documentation to support the carrier's submission to the FAA.

Will this fit a Piper Archer III TX yoke?
The yoke clamp mount that's included with RAM-B-121-AP36U kit will accommodate a yoke between .625" and 1.25" in diameter.
