This RAM® X-Grip® bundle includes the RAM® X-Grip® Universal Holder for 12"-13" Tablets and the RAM® Pod HD™ Vehicle Mount with 18" Aluminum Rod and Round Plate. The RAM® X-Grip® Universal Holder for 12"-13" tablets features an 'X' design that expands and contracts to provide a perfect fit for your device – even if it's in a case. Easy-to-access grip knobs located on the back of the holder enable quick release of your tablet and the RAM® ball and socket technology allows for near-infinite adjustability to achieve the ideal viewing angle. This part says it has a maximum height of 10.25" (using optional supports). Is it possible to use this cradle with a tablet that is taller than that?
Yes, the maximum height listed only applies if you are using the optional side support arms. If you leave at least one of those arms off of the mount it will be able to support taller tablets.
