Overview
The RAM® X-Grip® universal holder for 9"-11" tablets features an 'X' design that expands and contracts to provide a perfect fit for your device – even if it's in a case. Included are easy access grip knobs located on the back of the holder for quick release of your tablet. No matter what double socket arm and mounting base you pair the RAM® X-Grip® with, RAM® ball and socket technology allows for near-infinite adjustability to achieve the ideal viewing angle – while also extending the life of your tablet by providing shock and vibration damping. The RAM-101U-B consists of a short double socket arm and two 2.5" diameter round bases with the universal AMPS hole pattern. Designed into the mount is a 1.5" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system with adjustment points at both socket ends of the arm. Rubber ball and socket technology allows for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles. The included 2.10" x 2.60" steel backing plate with #8-32 threaded holes attaches to a variety of RAM® Mounts ball bases.

Does this kit include the 4 screws to mount the ball to the back of the mount?

Is this just the plate that holds the tablet or does it include the mounting kit? I really only need a plate as I already have your D- mount kit that I can mount to it
This is the whole kit. You will see the "Kit Components" button and order the parts separately.

will this mount work with iPad gen 10 with an otterbox case?
Yes, as long as the case being used is less than 8.1" wide and .875" thick, the X-Grip included with the RAM-101B2-UN9U will accommodate a 9th gen iPad in a case.

This part says it has a maximum height of 10.25" (using optional supports). Is it possible to use this cradle with a tablet that is taller than that?
Yes, the maximum height listed only applies if you are using the optional side support arms. If you leave at least one of those arms off of the mount it will be able to support taller tablets.
