Overview
The RAM® Round Plate with Ball (RAM-202U) features a 1.5" C size overmolded rubber ball attached to a 2.5" diameter round plate. This mounting component includes pre-drilled holes in the universal 4-hole AMPS pattern and is constructed from powder-coated, marine-grade aluminum for long-lasting durability in demanding environments. The ball base can function as an adapter—connecting to devices or holders with matching hole patterns—or as a drill-down base mounted directly to a surface.

What size screws are needed for the holes on this ball plate?
The most common screw sizes are #8, #10, M4 and M5 screws. However, if you are pairing this with any RAM® Holder, the holder will come with the necessary hardware to connect to your mount.

Does the center hole in the plate have threading for a bolt?
This ball does not have a female threaded hole on the bottom side.
