The RAM® Universal Wheelchair Base is a feature-rich mounting platform supporting any phone, tablet or cup holder for any wheelchair armrest or seat track. With the turn of a single knob the user can swivel the entire mounting system in and out of position without having to adjust any other mounting components. A quick release button is integrated into the base which allows the user to easily remove or insert the mount from the chair; also a great option for swapping out one device mount for another. The compact design of the RAM® Universal Wheelchair base keeps the mounting system within the chair's armrest width, offering peace of mind when navigating through tight spaces and doorways. I'm interested in the arm rest mount system. How difficult is it to swing this out of the way? Are there levers or knobs to turn? My hands are unable to turn knobs or levers.
It is not difficult to swing out of the way but there is a knob that is used to loosen it to be able to swing it out of the way. It is located on the bottom of the base as a T-Knob.

My wheelchair doesn't have tracks, is this mount compatible with the RAM® Tough-Track range ("RAM-TRACK-EXA-3BU" for example)?
No, this base would not be compatible with a RAM® Tough-Track. There is a similar base available that would be compatible with The RAM® Tough-Track though. The part number for that base is RAP-383-AAPU.
