The RAM® Tough-Claw™ Small Clamp Base with RAM® Vibe-Safe™ Adapter (RAP-400-462NPT) is a combination of the small RAM® Tough-Claw™ base and the RAM® Vibe-Safe™—our vibration damping accessory is designed to protect electronic devices from a wide range of vibration frequencies. The RAM® Vibe-Safe™ is based on an NPT connection point and boasts the versatility to rotate between portrait and landscape while keeping your device secure in rugged environments. The RAM® Tough-Claw™ base securely attaches to round, square, and odd-shaped rails and bars ranging from .625” to 1.14” in outer diameter. This low-profile base is compatible with most 2-Hole RAM® Holders, including the RAM® Quick-Grip™, RAM® Tough-Charge™, RAM® Quick-Charge™ & RAM® Form-Fit Holders.

Will this work with the X-Grip universal holder for 7-8 inch tablets with a b size ball?
As of right now we do not have a way to adapt the vibe safe to the RAM-HOL-UN8BU
