Overview

The RAP-299-3-UN10U consists of the RAM-A-CAN cup holder base, double socket system and universal spring loaded X-Grip® cradle for large phones and phablets. Included are support fins that flex, making the cup holder base conform to most vehicle cup holders. The mount is designed with a RAM B size 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles. The spring loaded X-Grip® cradle expands and contracts, allowing for a perfect custom fit of your phone or phablet. The X-Grip® includes a device tether recommended for outdoor applications. The cradle is compatible with handheld devices that will fit the dimensions listed below. Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • I noticed my phone can rotate back and forth when it is in the X-Grip. Is that normal?

That type of movement is totally normal for the X-Grip. When being used for less rugged applications the small amount of movement allowed is not an issue, but sometimes when traveling at higher speeds or in bumpy environments it can be. If that is causing problems in your application, it is best to use the safety tether which will prevent that type of movement by creating tension between the phone and backplate.
