will this mount work on a 17 ram 1500,or do i need to get it with that riser?
Technically the base will still install properly into the vehicle, but the riser allows the tele-pole to be offset to the proper position. Without the riser there is a risk that the pole may not come up high enough, or it may interfere more with any passenger seating.
