Overview
The RAM® Quick-Grip™ Wireless is a patented, universal water resistant wireless charging cradle for phones. As part of the spring-loaded RAM® Quick-Grip™ family, this cradle allows for single-handed placement and removal of your phone while taking advantage of Qi compatible wireless phone charging. Both the top and bottom cups feature rubber to help hold your phone firmly in place. To insert your device, use your phone to push the top cup upward and then gently place your device against the cradle for a secure fit. This Qi compatible wireless charging cradle ensures your compatible phone charges as long as it’s within the listed compatible dimensions. For added security and peace of mind, a device tether is included that’s recommended for outdoor applications. This RAM® Quick-Grip™ Wireless kit for vehicles includes a B size diamond base featuring a 1” rubber ball – perfect for attaching to your choice of B size RAM® double socket arm. The connected Type-A male pigtail connector features an in-line switch that allows you to turn off the wireless charging module when not in use. For in-vehicle charging, attach the pigtail to the included 1.2m Type-A male to Type-A female extension cable.

Will this holder work with an iPhone 17?
While the holder’s physical dimensions may fit some newer devices, the wireless charging location may not align properly with devices that are not listed as compatible, which can result in inconsistent, unreliable, or no charging at all. Additionally, many newer devices require more than 15W of power, which can affect overall compatibility.

Do the listed holder dimensions allow any leeway for phones in thicker cases like OtterBox, or do devices need to fall strictly within those measurements?
There is not leeway with the holder dimensions on this phone mount. If your number exceeds these dimensions, the phone will not be held properly.

Can Apple car play be used through this wireless charger?
The RAM-HOL-UN14WB-1 cannot transfer data/Apple Carplay through the wireless charger.

If the mount is rated for up to 15W of wireless charging, but my power source only provides 5V at 2A (10W), how can I achieve the full 15W charging output?
You would need an input power source that provides 9V-1.67A to ensure the RAM-HOL-UN14WB-1 can provide 15W of charging power.
