What backing plate would fit this mount to help me make it more secure when mounting on my kayak?

We currently do not have a backing plate for our D size.
How big is the base

The base plate for a RAM-109HS-4U is 3.47" x 3.47" with 2.5" x 2.5" hole spacing. The base is 1.81" tall from the bottom of the plate to the mounting point for the swing arm.
