RAM® Large Strap Hose Clamp Base for Beechcraft Bonanza Airplanes
Overview
The RAM-B-108B-STRAP40U accommodates rails from 2" to a maximum of 3" in diameter. To mount the RAM-B-108B-STRAP40U base, place the saddle shaped plate on the rail then wrap the metal clamp strap around the rail and plate. Tighten the screw knob on the metal strap with a screwdriver until the strap has a firm hold on the rail. The RAM-B-108B-STRAP40U is an alternative mounting base for aircraft such as the Bonanza or Beech with a “throw over yoke”.

What is the length of the bracket sitting on the control column. I am looking for a bracket for a twin commander, AC50, with a control wheel of 3.5 diameter and a mounting length of 2 inches. I think this solution might work.
The saddle portion of the RAM-B-108B-STRAP40U is 2" x 2" and 1.82" from the bottom of the saddle to the middle of the ball.
