The RAM-114-RBNBU consists of the RAM ROD® 2000 fishing rod holder, ratchet arm with single open socket that will attach to any of our 1.5 inch track balls or 1.5 inch drill down bases. The unique ball and socket with ratcheting feature allows for 360-degree rotation of the rod holder for optimal angle adjustments while on the water.

I'm looking for a solution that can hold a white cane to a wheelchair. Whitecanes are usually about 12mm diameter. We don't want it more than 3-4" above the wheelchair arm (it will attach to a RAM® Tough-Claw™ Small Clamp Base with Ball). We think a fishing rod holder will help as the cane needs to be able to rotate close to a 180 radius.
You would have to loosen the tightening knob on it in order to rotate it, though. You could attach it to the wheelchair with RAP-400U.
