I'm looking for a solution that can hold a white cane to a wheelchair. Whitecanes are usually about 12mm diameter. We don't want it more than 3-4" above the wheelchair arm (it will attach to a RAM® Tough-Claw™ Small Clamp Base with Ball). We think a fishing rod holder will help as the cane needs to be able to rotate close to a 180 radius.

Wow, I've never heard of someone using this rodholder to hole a whitecane. But I don't see why that wouldn't work. You would have to loosen the tightening knob on it in order to rotate it, though. You could attach it to the wheelchair with RAP-400U.
