Overview
The RAM® Tough-Case™ bundle is a rugged mount including the RAM® Tough-Case™, Tough-Case™ holder, C size double ball mount, backing plate and Power Delivery Hardwire Charger. The RAM® Tough-Case™ bundle is a two-piece enclosure for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro & 4 Pro that tethers the device inside of any vehicle with the help of the double ball mount and backing plate, meeting the demands of the transportation industry with ELD compliance and supports the device in No Battery Mode. This ultra-low cost bundle provides power to the device through a USB Type-C Male connector. The back of the tablet remains well exposed to allow heat to flow from the device to help maintain temperature levels. Unique features include access to the NFC reader while in the cradle for scanning NFC tags as well as the stylus. This complete mounting kit includes a 2.10" x 2.60" steel backing plate with #8-32 threaded holes, two 2.5” round ball plates, medium length double socket arm, and a GDS® Power Delivery Hardwire Charger – an ideal solution for providing power to the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro & 4 Pro. Is this weather and rain proof?
The RAM Tough Cases do provide some protection but they are intended for in-cab use and not meant to be exposed to the rain or weather in open cockpit applications.
