Overview

The RAM Tough-Claw™ is the perfect mounting base for quick and easy tool-less installation and removal on round, square, odd shaped rails and bars. The Tough-Claw™ can be clamped on rails from 0.625" - 1.14" outer diameter. This configuration comes with a #10-24 nut in the claw so you may bolt on whatever you need directly to the claw to create a mount. Perfectly suited for mounting on the yoke of an aircraft, handlebars and seat posts of bicycles, kayak rails, roll bars and much more, the RAM® Tough-Claw™ will soon become another essential RAM® component in your collection of mounting options.

    If you use  B Size (1") ball capacity is:

     Standard Use: 2 lbs

     Heavy-Duty Use: 1 lb.

    If you use the C Size (1.5") ball capacity is: 

    Standard Use: 4 lbs.; Heavy-Duty Use: 3 lbs.

  • Will it attach to a C size ball?

    Yes, the C size ball this can connect to is RAP-351-2U, or the claw that comes with the ball is RAP-400U.

  • Do you have an X Grip large phone holder for this mount?

    The holder by itself to connect to this Tough-Claw is not available, but the complete kit (Holder + Claw) is available here: RAM-HOL-UN10-400-2U
