Overview
The RAM® Tough-Case™ is a rugged two-piece enclosure for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5, Tab Active3 and 2 with a built-in coiled power cable that tethers the device inside of any vehicle. This case allows you to create a hardwired connection to the tablet using a custom USB Type-C connector, with a stretch of up to 4 ft which offers maximum tablet mobility while staying connected. Your connection will remain secured and protected with the use of oversized strain relief built into the RAM® Tough-Case™. The back of the case is intentionally left fully exposed to optimize cooling of the tablet's battery. Which kind of specs does the cable have? USB 2, USB 3, USB 3.1 ? PowerDelivery PD2, PD3 ? Will it support the no battery mode of the galaxy Tab Active5?
The cable for this product supports USB2.0 for data and is PD3.0 capable. This product was designed to work in "No Battery Mode" for the Tab Active 3 and Tab Active 5 if you use the recommended power delivery power supply.

I'd like to mount this onto a motorcycle for off-road events. Is the pogo pin side water and dust proof?
This unit is not waterproof in any way. Exposure to water can cause damage and will void the warranty, so we recommend keeping it fully protected from moisture.
