I have a Garmin Overlander and would like to connect it to a B size 1" Ram ball. I believe the Garmin uses a 17mm ball that fits into the magnetic holder for the Overlander. Will this RAM Short ball adapter for Garmin fit the Overlander magnetic holder so that I can use the RAM mount 1" mount fittings that I already have? I have also come across on the internet an adapter called a GPS Express 1" B-Size Ball to 17mm Garmin which looks like it would do the job. Thanks.
The Garmin Overlander should come with a 1" B size ball adapter included. The power pack that clips into the back of that GPS unit has a 4 hole AMPS pattern that matches the hole pattern for the adapter plate so you can secure it directly to your Overlander.
