Challenge

As part of the previous setup, Robotic Equipment Operators (REO) would simply carry deployment devices around with them. These REOs didn't have the right tools to hold and safely secure the devices used to run the software. Built wanted to create an official process and safety best practices while also winning the trsut of their customers.

Built Robotics installed — and continues to install — RAM® No-Drill™ vehicle laptop mounts and tablet mounts into all of their deployment vehicles and excavators. These new mounting kits helped Built create a standard for their deployment process while providing essential tools for REOs perform duties successfully, every time. Additionally, Built Robotics loves the RAM® ecosystem. RAM®’s universal line of tablet holders came in handy to support the 8” tablets that needed to be mounted inside the cabin of each excavator. These tablets acted as the software's onboard user interface that any given technician could operate and read diagnostic information.
