Paper Transport was founded in 1990, pulling the transportation company’s first loads out of Green Bay. Today the company employs more than 700 drivers and provides transportation solutions throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Oklahoma, and Texas.

With the ELD mandate on the horizon, Paper Transport needed a solution to protect, dock, and charge the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 tablets in their fleet. Paper Transport had used a cheaper mounting product in the past, but thought it wasn’t a true industry solution – instead they were looking for a simple, durable solution that would work over the lifetime of the fleet. In addition, Paper Transport needed the ability to reuse their tablets when updating the fleet in the future.

Paper Transport and RAM® Mounts worked closely to move to GDS® Locking Vehicle Docks and made adjustments to ensure any charging issues were solved throughout the fleet.
