What size ball adapter is needed on the back side of the mount?

Normally RAM recommends using the RAM-202U (C size ball, 1.5" in diameter) for use as the attachment point on the back of the GDS charging docks. The no drill vehicle kits are typically what those are used and the swing arms included with those kits have a C size socket on the end for the 1.5" diameter ball.
