Overview
The single Desktop Dock Pro is a heavy-duty docking and charging base for any device equipped with an IntelliSkin® sleeve including phones and tablets. The Pro Series of desktop docks provide HD data connectivity and an extra-heavy base for stability of larger devices and frequent docking and undocking common in commercial applications. The Desktop Dock Pro features 12-pin contacts that easily connect to your IntelliSkin® wrapped device. RAM® is setting a new standard by creating a uniform platform for making connection between any electronic device and a dock for power and data communication. Regardless if the device has a case, skin, cover or is bare, RAM® has created a platform to provide compatibility across multiple devices and docking stations, making power and data communication simple and cost effective. Will this dock work for an Ipad Pro? Including data transfer?
No, the iPad Pro models will require Power Delivery docks and chargers in order to be compatible, and this dock does not have that feature. The dock we recommend for iPad Pro models (or any iPad with USB Type-C instead of Lightning) will be the RAM-GDS-DOCK-D7U (Power only) or RAM-GDS-DOCK-D7AU (Power + peripheral support).
