Overview
The RAM-202-24-202U powder-coated, marine-grade aluminum Humminbird Helix 7 mount consists of a medium length double socket arm, a 2.5" diameter round base with a 1.5" C size ball, and one 1.5" x 3.5" rectangular plate with a 1.5" C size ball. The 1.5" x 3.5" rectangular plate contains a 4-hole pattern. Rubber ball and socket technology provides shock and vibration damping, and allows for near-infinite adjustability so you can position your device at the perfect viewing angle. Compatible with the Humminbird Helix 7.

What screws are used to attach the RAM Mount to the gimbal bracket?
Typically the gimbal bracket included with your fishfinder will also come with mounting screws that should connect to the RAM® mounting plate. As these mounts are universal and are for many different applications, the necessary hardware needed for each application will vary. For marine applications, RAM® recommends stainless steel hardware to prevent corrosion.

Can I add a Add-A-Ball™ Accessory Ball for B Size Socket Arms to this mount. I know this mount runs with a size C ball but i want to add the size b add a ball socket. I wondered if that would work
No, the RAM-B-273U (the Add A Ball) uses a different size threaded bolt than the C size double socket arms and is not directly compatible with the double socket arm used in the RAM-202-24-202U.

can this be mounted on vertical surface
Yes, the RAM-202-24-202U can be mounted vertically instead of horizontally. The RAM-109VS-4U and RAM-109VS-5NBU are designed specifically to be mounted vertically, combined with a RAM-202U-24, you will have a solid base mount designed to be mounted vertically and that's compatible with a Humminbird Helix 7.
